The depth of the tunnel could be just 3 meters deep, but as the tunnels are tapered on every side, the tunnels will generate another set of visual illusion, meaning the viewer will feel that the tunnels are much deeper than they actually are. This results in an enormous level of visual pull/tension to the viewer. Hence, they will be almost unconsciously pulled to walk into the tunnels.
